i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. my oldest daughter needs me to go stay with her for a couple of days, to get her back and forth to her surgery, her physical therapy, and to court to finalize her divorce. this is horrible timing, financially speaking. bills are piling up, both cars have to be registered, and mark hasn't been working many hours last week... and it doesn't look like he'll get many this week.

so please pray for me to have a safe trip, and that mark will be able to administer the various medications his cat must have twice a day, and for me to have PEACE! that's sorely lacking at the moment. i feel rushed and under pressure, and i need to be back here on friday. (marylou, don't worry about your dog, i have to be back that morning to take my cat to the vet, so i'll still be able to take care of granny for you.)

Christie,

May the God of the universe grant you peace that passes all understanding and Godspeed my friend.

i'm home! the drive home was more enjoyable than the drive there... but that's always the case. it was especially the case this time, because the trip was so last-minute.

but all is well... surgery went well, and i spent the next couple of days driving her on all her appointments and errands.

thing is, she has a new knot on her left hand now, one on her collar bone, and one under her chin. so those will have to be evaluated.

this is her third surgery for her third cyst.... she's had two ganglions and one bartholin removed in the last few years, and now everytime she gets a new, painful knot anywhere, she assumes it may be another cyst. yet her BAS doctor seems to think there's nothing to worry about.  dunno i'm thinking there has to be an underlying cause.
